Activities in the area
Petrin Hill is a few steps from the William Hotel. The top of Petrin is accessible by cable car or one of the scenic trails. The Petřín lookout tower, with its more than 60 metres, offers visitors an unforgettable view of the centuries-old Prague and the bridges over the Vltava River.
The adjacent Petřín mirror maze is a pleasant diversion for children and adults. Prague Castle is only a few minutes away by tram. On the way to Prague Castle, in one of the oldest parts of the historic centre of Prague - the Lesser Town - stands the Church of Our Lady of Victory with the adjacent building of the Prague Jesuit Convent.
The statuette of the Infant Jesus of Prague is a world-famous pilgrimage site, with up to two million pilgrims a year. The Infant Jesus of Prague is the most revered statue of the baby Jesus in the world. Not far from the William Hotel is the popular Kampa Island, which is a pleasant place to relax.
